Kelvin Seet’s Photography

After many months of taking a break from shooting portraits due to the birth of my daughter, I have finally tried my hand at doing a studio shoot. Thanks to Aylwin, I managed to get access to a studio and learnt some basic studio photography with his tips and guidance.

I am very happy and glad to say that I have done my very first studio portrait shoot with my now 6-month old daughter :). My wife and I conceptualised the shoot and got everything together. It was quite a challenge shooting a 6-month old baby as her attention span was not very long, and as she had just learnt how to sit up without support, my wife had to constantly be on the lookout to catch her in case she toppled over.

Here are the photos! They are not perfect and I do have a long way to go before I master studio photography, but I do hope that you’ll enjoy looking at them!

Arielle is my beautiful baby girl, born in September 2009. She’s the reason I’ve not been doing any outdoor shoots lately but she’s going to be my very first baby model!
