Acropolis, Athens, Greece

by Kelvin Seet on Nov.06, 2008, under Travels

It took a while to get to the top of the Acropolis as we had to climb a gradual but pleasant slope to get there. Along the way, there were many other ancient structures to appreciate so it was quite a nice climb!

When we go to the top, the view was fantastic and I could feel and imagine how an ancient greek would had walked the stones, met up with important people and most of all, feel safe from invaders. Although the main structure, the Parthenon, had been recladded and rejuvenated time and again, its immense glory still makes its presence felt.

Here’s my set of reasonably acceptable photos for your viewing!

View of Acropolis, Athens, Greece

by Kelvin Seet on Nov.06, 2008, under Travels

These are a set of photos of the Acropolis that I had taken from the lounge of one of the hotels in Athens.

I tried to be as creative as possible with regards to my composition and editing. Hope you’ll like it!
