I had the opportunity to go up to the top of the Marina Bay Sands Skypark and took the opportunity to capture this panorama of the Singapore skyline.

I was there during sunset with my family. The famous Infinity Pool at the hotel was truly a sight to behold! It was really crowded as this tourist attraction cum hotel destination is currently one of the hottest places to be at in Singapore.

As the sun was setting when I was there, shooting against the backlit skyline posed a technical challenge but as it was a rare opportunity, I had to have a go at capturing the memorable scene. It would had been better if I was there during sunrise but having the chance to be there was not an often occurrence.

From the photo, you can see the various skyscrapers and the Singapore River. The Merlion can be seen in the lower centre of the foreground…tiny isn’t it? Many of the nation’s well known landmarks can also be spotted in this photograph. If you have been to Singapore, you will definitely remember them!

Sorry for not uploading any new photos for quite some time! I had a happy new addition to my family recently and she really kept me busy along with my other two precious ladies!

I will be taking more photos in the future (I haven’t stopped though!) and my current project is to compile a whole collection of panoramic photos of beautiful scenes from around the world.
